Description
osmanthus loose leaf oolong tea
Osmanthus Oolong is a fragrant green Oolong infused with Osmanthus flowers. It is ideal for tea lovers that prefer a fresh, green Oolong quality and refined, floral balance to the brew.
Gui Hua (桂花 pronounced “gway hwah”) is the Chinese name for the fragrant osmanthus flower, and is used in scenting this oolong. In the final stages of processing, the leaves are baked with fresh osmanthus blossoms, “heat-infusing” the tea with the flower’s fragrant aroma. Because we use the fresh osmanthus blossoms to infusing the oolong tea, the osmanthus flower still maintain the same smell, same yellow color and taste as when it was still fresh, this quality of this osmanthus oolong tea is different from the ones that not infused with fresh osmanthus flower.
